Happy Independence Day – And an exciting #Giveaway

Hello Everyone! First of all, Happy Independence Day! India broke away from British rule and achieved independence on August 15, 1947. We are a pretty young nation, considering, and we have grown by leaps and bounds. I was lucky to be born in a free country – my grandparents weren’t!

If you want to learn more about the history and culture of India, and our struggle for freedom, I recommend Jawaharlal Nehru’s Discovery of India. I wrote a detailed review of this book on of my other blogs. Please check it out if you are interested.
