As a full time blogger, I spend most of my time online. But blogging doesn’t end with just creating blog posts. There is a lot of research that needs to be done, images that have to be created, and content marketing to be done via social media and other channels.
To put my best blogging foot forward, I need powerful tools in my arsenal. Of course I cannot afford a super computer. But ASUS computers provide an impressive option.
My introduction to ASUS came via my media player, which allows me to turn my old CRT into a Smart TV. This means I can watch YouTube videos or play media files off a thumb drive and watch them on my TV.
I was pleasantly surprised to see all the ASUS products that are being released now in the Indian market. Most people agonize over ‘laptop vs PC’ when it comes to buying a computer. My choice is easy because I need Both!
I need a portable computer that I can carry around when I travel, and take to client meetings. And I need a PC that stands tall on my work desk and holds the bulk of all my data and provides awesome processing power.
What I love about the ASUS EeeBook X205
I love tablets but there is a limit to how much you can type. The ASUS EeeBook X205TA has won my heart because of its following features –
Sleek, Lightweight and Ultra Portable
I have traveled across continents lugging laptops along with my baggage, and I don’t care for it anymore. The ASUS EeeBook X205TA weighs less than 1 kg and has a small screen. I can pack it in my large purse and don’t need a separate laptop bag for it.
High Processing Power
Windows 8.1 with its tabs, a 2 GB RAM and Quad Core Intel Atom processor mean that this notebook has lots of power under the hood. This means I can have multiple browsers open and also edit photos while typing those blog posts. So multitasking is a breeze.
The ASUS EeeBook satisfies my criteria for being a coveted work horse.
What I Love About the ASUS All-in-one PC ET2040
All-in-One PCs are the rage now, and I haven’t had the chance to use one until now. This baby has a lot of innovation going for it.
Sleek and Powerful
A 19.5 inch screen, Intel processor, 2 Gigs of RAM and a whopping 500GB hard drive, all inside a super thin piece of equipment – what’s not to like? And there are USB and HDMI ports and card readers, making this perfect to interface with all your devices.
Innovative Gesture Control
I type so much during the day that my shoulders become stiff and my fingers hurt. So any technology that eases my load is very welcome. Gesture controls let you flip windows, play music or videos or raise or lower volume. Isn’t that awesome?
The ASUS All-in-One PC ET2040 deserves a place on my work desk, and its no boring old PC.
Have you used any ASUS products yet? And would you consider buying these products?
This is my entry for Go Sleek! on Indiblogger.

Thanks for this post! I actually need a new laptop soon (my current one turns 5 years soon). And I’m not an apple person. Somehow I just feel apple charges too much for what its worth. Will have a closer look to Asus 🙂

Hello Howie,
Mine is also taking its last breaths 🙂 ASUS has a sweet price point and that is a good beginning! I totally agree about Apple. Don’t know what the big deal is!
