Introducing Rice Bowl – Cookbook of Rice Recipes

January 29, 2016 by Pragati Bidkar

Hello Dear Readers! January of 2016 is almost behind us and we are rushing ahead full steam. There’s lots happening here in your favorite kitchen, and a sneak peek is coming right up.

I am pleased to announce my new book Rice Bowl: Vegetarian Rice Recipes from India and the World.

Yay!!

Here’s my new book cover –

Rice Bowl - Cookbook of Rice Recipes

My first cookbook 30 Days of Daal is now available worldwide at major retailers like Amazon, Nook, Kobo and Apple’s iBooks. Thousands of copies have been grabbed since the worldwide release at Thanksgiving.

I am hoping for a similar welcome to Rice Bowl.

Any rice fans out there? I am one. A big one!

Being South Asian, rice is definitely part of my DNA. Rice has firm place in the traditional Indian meal. And given our ethnic diversity, there are so many many different ways of dishing it up.

Rice Bowl features several popular Indian recipes, some Asian recipes and a few other global recipes that are my personal favorites.

What to expect from Rice Bowl Cookbook

– Authentic but simplified recipes
– Drool worthy pictures
– Step by step instructions
– Dos and Don’ts and special notes

The book will contain some tips on what kind of rice to buy, how to cook rice and other basic stuff for newbies.
