Have you heard about the latest telecom revolution? Airtel just launched their 4G service today. Yay! And what’s more, they are putting their money where their mouth is. Prove your network is faster, and Airtel will pay your mobile bills for life. Yes, for life! Now that is a sure fire way to get some attention, right folks?
With everyone and their mother launching a mobile app, my phone is getting bogged down. So much that when I have to actually search for something, it takes a long time to load. The solution is clear – we need more bandwidth. That too right now. Our phones may have faster processors, and a huge RAM, but they will be of no use unless there is a fast network to support them.
With their 4G network, Airtel has taken the right step toward a faster mobile network.
Why I can’t wait to get Airtel 4G
Do you know how many total devices you have on your home network? Let’s see, the desktop, a couple of laptops, 2-3 iPads, four mobile phones, etc. Just imagine how much strain you are putting on your home network. Your network bandwidth is nothing but a pipe. Every device takes a portion of the pipe, or fights for a portion when the pipe is too small and devices too many. No wonder it takes forever to load your email, or play your saas-bahu show on YouTube. A 4G network means the pipe is bigger, giving you more room.
I am tired of the ‘Buffering’ message, or the circle that goes into a loop telling me the page is loading. I want my network to keep up with my brain. And this is the one reason why I can’t wait to get Airtel 4G. The 4G home WiFi supports up to 32 devices! Now isn’t that something?
Price of Airtel 4G
So Ok, we know 4G will make our lives easier, but what about cost? Is it going to shatter my monthly budget? This is a valid question that everyone wants answered. Well, the good news is that 4G is available at 3G prices. Yes, you heard that right. There is no extra cost for using this fabulous 4G network. So the price is not an issue, here.
Some things are just plain common sense. I have been waiting for a 4G network for a long time. And now that it is here, I am ready to grab it and try it out!
What are you waiting for?
